Permits

The permit process can sometimes be confusing and tedious. We will work with you to identify the key personnel and the most efficient process for getting your permit(s) issued timely with the least confusion. We will then make recommendations to your team on the best permitting strategies for your project. Based on the status of your design and its relationship to the construction schedule, phased permits breaking out demolition, excavation and foundations only or core and shell separate from tenant improvements may be appropriate.

Most projects require, at a minimum, permits issued by the local building department and fire department. For more technical and/or larger projects, additional permits may be required from numerous federal, state and local entities. Working with each of these entities, we will coordinate the project’s permit process. If the permitting process is not understood and managed properly, it may delay your project in turn costing you time and money.

Project One Integrated Services will:

				Submit your plans to the various municipalities for review and approval. If necessary, we can hand carry your plans through the various departments.
				Meet with the different municipalities to review your plans and answer any questions.
				Coordinate your zoning, easement and variance requests with the city.
