Michael Ossian, AIA
Mike Ossian has more than 40 years of experience in Campus planning, design and construction administration within the Healthcare and Higher Education industries. Since 1990, Mike has focused his experience to benefit clients throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. At Project One, Mike assists clients through the various phases of programming, planning, design and construction on capital improvement projects. These services have included preparation of master budgets, master project schedules, selection of design and construction team members and a variety of other owner responsibilities. Prior to joining Project One, Mike was a Principal of one of the state’s largest architectural firms. Mike led design on some of Colorado’s largest and most complex construction projects including the relocation of The Children’s Hospital from its Denver location to the new Anschutz Medical Campus at the Fitzsimons Campus in Aurora. Mike was also part of the programming team for the proposed new Veteran’s Hospital that is to be constructed just east of The Children’s Hospital on the Fitzsimons Campus. Mike has extensive experience on Healthcare Campuses including multiple improvement projects for Vail Valley Medical Center in Vail Colorado, a new Medical Office Building for VVMC in Edwards, CO., renovation of Sterling Regional Medical Center in Sterling, CO, and multiple improvement projects for Kaiser Permanente at 13 of their Denver Area facilities. Other recent healthcare experience includes new facilities for the Eating Recovery Center’s Behavioral Hospital for Adults located at 1830 Franklin Street and ERC’s Behavioral Hospital for Children and Adolescents located in Denver at 8140 East 5th Avenue. Mike’s also has significant architectural experience with capital construction projects on Higher Education Campuses in Colorado including the new Sturm College of Law and the Nagel Residence Hall for the University of Denver; multiple design and planning projects for the campuses of the University of Colorado including the El Pomar Center (Kramer Family Library) and University Center at Colorado Springs; the New Health Sciences Building for Aims Community College in Greeley, Colorado and the additions/renovation of the Engineering Building for Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
